An Openreach Subcontractor Partners Actually Rely On

Every delivery manager has a subbie horror story, which is exactly why choosing an Openreach subcontractor feels risky. The crew that didn’t show. The quality pack that never arrived. The route that crawled while penalties mounted. You don’t need another supplier on the list — you need one you stop worrying about.

What an Openreach subcontractor relationship with us looks like

Week 0 — scope and straight answers.

Send the SOW or route pack. We review it properly before we price it, which means the price holds and the surprises are ours to absorb, not yours to explain upwards. If we can't hit your dates, we say so at this stage — not three weeks in.

Weeks 1–4 — mobilisation.

Inductions completed, tickets evidenced, RAMS approved, crews allocated. We plug into your reporting from day one: daily whereabouts, weekly progress, photo evidence per pole or per span in whatever format your quality team wants it.

Delivery.

Crews stay on the programme rather than rotating through it — the same people who learned your route's quirks in week one are the ones finishing it. Defects get fixed before they're findings. Quality packs land with the work, not a month behind it.

Close-out.

Testing, certification and evidence submitted; snag list cleared; route handed over in a state your auditor can walk without you holding your breath.

What we take off your hands

Whole-route delivery

survey to splice under one accountable contractor, so your PM manages one relationship instead of five

Capacity top-up

accredited crews slotted into your existing delivery structure when programmes outgrow your core teams

The difficult residue

The restricted-access poles, the D-pole backlog and the awkward spans your standard crews keep deferring, cleared by our hard-to-reach poling and spider crane specialists

Recovery work

stalled or inherited routes finished properly, including remediation of work that failed audit

Survey capacity

OR and PIA surveys (/network-surveys) by surveyors from build backgrounds, delivered submission-ready

Why partners keep us on the programme

Predictability is the product. The build itself is table stakes; what you’re actually buying is a WIP call with no surprises on it. Our reporting is honest even when the news isn’t good — you’ll always know where the route really stands.

Evidence without chasing. RAMS, lift plans, photos and quality packs arrive as standard — see our accreditations. Your quality team shouldn’t have to be our project managers.

Crews that stay. Low churn on the programme means the learning curve gets climbed once.

Important, honestly stated: We’re an independent Openreach subcontractor working to Openreach specifications for its partners. We’re not Openreach or BT.

FAQs

That’s a call we get often, and 2–4 week mobilisation is built for it. Send the scope the day the problem surfaces; we’ll give you an honest yes or no within 24 hours.

Both models — though whole-route delivery is where we add most, because one accountable contractor beats five interfaces.

Yours. Tell us the platform and the cadence, and that’s what you get from day one.

The full set for the disciplines we deliver — evidenced before anyone touches your programme. Full list  pack available same day for supplier onboarding.
